The Administrative Department of the Town of Greybull handles a multitude of duties that allow for the smooth operation of the Town. The Clerk is responsible for Town Council support including Council and committee meetings, meeting agenda scheduling, minutes, research, Town records maintenance, legal notice publications, public bid openings and bid security maintenance, general administrative guidance for records processing, policies and procedures, and maintenance throughout the organization. The Clerk also maintains a legislative history of Council actions and provides information to the public.

The Clerk's office is the office of record for many of the Town's official documents. In addition, the Clerk's Office handles the licensing for liquor license applications, itinerant merchant licenses, business licenses (building contractors, plumbers, and HVAC), and dog licenses.

The Town Code books are accessible to the public in the office of the Town Clerk/Municipal Court Clerk. They are responsible for the maintenance of these code books and are very knowledgeable about their contents.
